Buttondown has been an amazing experience for me. The service is constantly being improved and customer service is the best. My newsletter with Buttondown has grown from a fairly small list to over 15,000 subscribers, and it hasn't broken a sweat yet.

Simple to use. MailChimp has become too bloated

Awesome and simple app that makes it easy to send out emails to your list. I love that fact that it is being actively developed. I've used MailChimp, then TinyLetter, but one is far too kitchen-sink, and the other is too bare bones. Buttondown is my goldilocks... just right!

Buttondown is the essential newsletter tool for people in tech, whether you want a programable API or (like me) just want to work in Markdown to keep the content reusable and make use of other extensive tooling options. Extremely responsive support, terrific options, extremely useable free tier. I've been using it for 3yrs (168 issues!) and I'm very happy.

This newsletter solution is uncluttered and works! I've used it for over a year now, writing in markdown and pushing it out to my readership. Should you need it, support is kind, quick, and always willing to help.

10x better than Mailchimp, Substack, Mailerlite, Tinyletter, and others. Trust me, I've tried them all. Easy to set up, but lots of options for customization if you want them.

What I love about Buttondown 1. I can write my emails in Markdown like i'm used to 2. The UI is simple, and I can quickly find what I need 3. The developer/owner is SUPER responsive to bug reports etc via their Discord 4. My favorite feature: I've got CATEGORIES that people can sign up to, embedded and styled on my on site caseywatts.com/newsletter

This works great for my personal newsletter. I can manage subscribers and drafts easily. My favorite features: * I can opt-out of analytics / tracking, which feels incongruent with my goals of keeping my letter personal. * I can use my personal domain to send emails, in a way helps with prevention of my email getting marked as spam.
