Review of AND.CO

I've tried every time-tracking/invoicing app there is for freelancers, but when I finally tried AND CO I was instantly sold!

Both the web app and mobile app are a delight to use. They are fast and just work without any hiccups. The features are great and have helped me save a ton of time on admin work. Sending an invoice or a contract is a breeze. You also get a real, live human to ask for help! Need to invoice a client? Have a question about your taxes? Simply send a message to your CO and they will always have your back!

Their dev team is also great! I requested a couple features and they were released within a few weeks. That showed me that the team at AND CO listen to their customers and give me confidence to use this app for the long-term.

It's not often that I fall in love with an app. AND CO is the exception. Highly recommended.

Review of AND.CO
While I haven't yet taken the dive into freelancing fully, I have absolutely loved using AND CO for even the occasional freelance project over the last couple years. I also use it for tracking my time doing pro bono and business development work. AND CO provides (nearly) everything a freelancer might need in one place and I appreciate their commitment to continuing to grow their platform in a way that best serves freelancers. The two things I find myself wanting that it doesn't offer are: 1) a calendar with scheduling capabilities (this could be an integration feature, and maybe it already is?), and 2) a Gantt chart with the ability to drag and drop in the project management area. But as it stands, AND CO is amazing, and their customer service is stellar!

Review of AND.CO

I've been a freelancer for 10+ years and this is software is simply amazing.

After playing with it for less than 15 minutes I actually got tears in my eyes.

They're giving this to us for free... Contracts and Proposals, Income and Expense tracking, Time Tracking, Recurring billing, Payment Integration... the list goes on and on.

For the young lancers starting out appreciate this gift... you can set yourself to become wealthy and secure if you take your time, build your business, and make this the backbone of your system.

Much Appreciation.

I love the standardisation aspect. This is a really worthy aspiration, and has the potential to lead to better understanding between clients and customers.

I am also intrigued by the prospect of terms becoming so standard and well known that people can define their agreement simply by noting the areas that depart from the standard. Imagine signing an agreement that just says:

"The parties agree to the freelance standard terms, with the following exceptions:

- x; and

-y."

This practice already exists with ISDA standard terms for over-the-counter derivatives.

The UI for entering information is great and easy to follow.

The only thing that I worry about slightly is the disconnect form the 'form' type UI for entering information and the rather complex contractual language that it produces. For example, if I choose 'work for hire' as my IP setting, the only way to understand that this means I do not own the IP I create for clients is to read 3 paragraphs of fairly dense legal text. Interested to see if you find a way to bridge that gap.
