My Gun safety technique is living in the UK with no Gun. I've had 100% success with it so far.

@robjbye That's great. Living in places where you don't need a gun is awesome.

@robjbye It would be funny to see a bunch of British cops trying to stop a terrorist with their bare hands
Rob Bye@robjbye · I build products and companies
@yehonatan_tsirolnik They do. It's called Mi5 with armed police (rarely seen in the UK) pre-emptively stopping them out of the public view.

@robjbye fairly often. And with pretty stellar results.

@yehonatan_tsirolnik @robjbye the thing is that in the UK, if any criminal or terrorist is stupid enough to have a gun, the whole police force goes after them, even if they have fired it or not. They are given maximum priority. It's very, very effective and IMO a large reason as to why we don't have mass shootings every other week. Anyway, this is PH, enoug… See more

@robjbye I have had the opportunity to visit several countries. I have to say that I haven't feel more secure anymore as in London (not so much in other areas of the UK). @oscaralaniz Yeah it's pretty awesome here. The police spend more time giving directions in London than having to deal with serious violence. And they're just really nice people as well.

@yehonatan_tsirolnik @robjbye Right because Britain NEVER dealt with terrorism

@robjbye What do the people in the U.K use to protect themselves, especially now that Violent Crime is on the rise? http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/...
Marc Brooks@idisposable · Hack Prime, Tacklr
@robjbye I didn't have to move to accomplish that... and I live downtown in horribly unsafe St. Louis ;)
Rob Bye@robjbye · I build products and companies
@deysonortiz We use the police force with people who are trained and licensed to use weapons. Apart from that, most people involved in violent crime also initiate it. Myself and nearly everyone I know have never been attacked or assaulted ever.

@yehonatan_tsirolnik @robjbye it works pretty well tbh - so far no incidents of police failing to shoot a terrorist because they haven't had a gun, at least one incident of an innocent being shot by police because they had a gun.
