I mean, it's just an exact copy of noisli.com, even the icons and everything. Did you think people wouldn't notice, or...?

@simoalx Hey, Alex. Thanks for this feedback. The biggest thing I felt was missing from Noisli and some of the other sound generators out there is that they don't feature any musical elements. As of now, zenmix.io has the one ambient track. And I plan to introduce others like it in the future so that the tool becomes more of a looping song that you control. Again, I appreciate your candid opinion and welcome any additional thoughts or suggestions!

@logannickleson And you also thought that any of the UI and UX of the site couldn't be iterated on at all? I honestly cannot see a situation where you didn't just grab the noisli site up, and said "make it look and work exactly like that".

@simoalx I aimed to build an interface that was simple and intuitive. After exploring a few different ideas, I felt that the icon controls achieved that goal best. My intent was never to copy anyone — only to provide the best listening experience possible.

@simoalx I don't see why this needs to exist, either. @logannickleson, you could always suggest one ambient track be added to noisli and/or keep this as an internal tool. Otherwise, it truly does look like you have cloned the site and changed the colors.

@jesse_wallace Thanks for your feedback, Jesse. I'll keep it in mind for future iterations.

I would definitely use this for meditation, the feature that would be great to add is a timer and a choice for a sound to happen at the end of the timer (eg the calm app has a gong). Nice work!

@matthartman Interesting ideas, Matt. Packing those away for future iterations ;) Thanks!

A suggestion, if if you copy another site, the least you could do is to make it look different or use a different slogan. Add other functionalities or make it different so it's worth by itself. Doing that before release is a must, in my opinion. Cloning isn't cool... Noisli.com > "Improve focus and boost your productivity." Zenmix.io > "Increase your focus. Maximize your productivity."

I hear and appreciate your feedback, Alex. In future iterations, I think you'll find the differences to be more pronounced.
