We've seen so many rad Product Hunt integrations but this is one of my favorites -- no offense, everyone else. :) Zapier integrates with several services so that you can trigger notifications and automated workflows when specific events occur. For example: - Post your latest Product Hunt upvote to Twitter - Surface new hunts into your Slack room - Get an email when @davemorin posts a new product Excited to see what people do with this. Great work, @mikeknoop, @dannyaway, @wadefoster, and team. :)

@rrhoover Looks interesting, I've never used Zapier (I love IFTTT, though). I'll give it a shot!

@lachlanjc I can never figure out what to use IFTTT for. What do you use it for?

@zackshapiro I use a number of recipes. One is to add popular NYTimes Tech articles to my Instapaper (super handy, because the articles will download on my iPhone in the background and will be available offline). Another I frequently use is to add emails in an “Evernote” list in Mailbox (over Gmail) to my Evernote. I hack I came up with is to hook up some service online service with something like SMS (a setup might be, text IFTTT with “Something #service” and then IFTTT uses Gmail to send the service an email and therefore save it). Oh, and I hook up Yo to Campfire to alert people that I can chat super quickly :)
