Love this product @dennismortensen and his team are doing great things. As a startup, you need to be able to delegate and to be able to offload my meeting scheduling to Amy is an absolute blessing! Big kudos to them!
x.ai is an awesome product. Seriously, go sign up for it now.
This is very cool :)
How did the team come up with the pricing for the product? Will love to hear how you thought about that.
@spenceryang there's a good post on our pricing thoughts here: www.perfectprice.io/blog/outing-... BUT you can also think about it like this: Say you make $90,000 a year and schedule 8 meetings a week. Each meeting takes about 3.5 emails to negotiate. And you spend 5 minutes writing each scheduling related email. That’s 8 x 3.5 x 5 = 2.33 hrs/week or about 10 hrs/month spent scheduling meetings Your hourly rate is $90,000 (plus 40% tax and overhead)/1,800 (work hours in a year) = ~ $70/hr Which means you’re investing $700 every month into meeting scheduling. At that rate, $39/month seems like a bargain (or 1,700% ROI). I could be biased of course :)
@dennismortensen Great answer and thought process. Thanks for sharing.
@dennismortensen @spenceryang Makes sense, especially if it really did manage all of my scheduling. After trying it out for a week, I've found that I needed to pay close attention to what was going on. One replied "let's have the meeting in week 41" and was given dates in a different week, someone else booked a breakfast meeting at time when the restaurant is closed. Things that wouldn't happen, if it was my FancyHands assistant (at roughly same price point). I really like what you're trying to do with x.ai and hope it will continue to get better, but for now it unfortunately won't be able to manage all of my scheduling. Also because a lot of it is not in English.
@boetter @dennismortensen What languages do you wish they will support next?
@spenceryang @dennismortensen It's not really a request, as my mother language is Danish and I always expect software to pick it up very late, Siri doesn't even fully understand it yet :-)
