When it comes to brainstorming and creating flowcharts, Whimsical deserves a solid 5-star rating from me. It proves to be an excellent tool for teams who want to effortlessly create flowcharts and brainstorm with sticky notes. Personally, I found the experience of brainstorming flows within Whimsical to be quite enjoyable.
However, I must admit that there is room for improvement in terms of performance. While it gets the job done, there are areas where it could work more efficiently. I hope that the Whimsical team takes note of this feedback and makes the necessary improvements in the near future.
I just love it. The name does not do it justice. Its a great, no actually, excellent tool for collaboration in real time. And Its so far the only whiteboard, collabtool I have found that actually has a working Mindmap feature.
Great tool, addresses the pain of creating flow charts manually
Whimsical turns the process of creating diagrams and flowcharts from mundane to a real joy! Whether I'm brainstorming ideas or working with my team, it adds a touch of style to everything. The wireframing feature is also quite intuitive, despite its simplicity. Whimsical has become my go-to for making ideas come alive visually.
Overall, a pretty good app. A very beautiful interface, which is good news. There are some shortcomings, but they are minor.
Of all the other solutions i have used for Flow Charts, Process Maps, Swim-lanes etc this is probably one of the best with the other one being Visio. Would start using this for other features as well
Super useful tool for planning, creating flows, and napkin drawings!
Just stumbled upon Whimsical Template Library on Product Hunt! 🚀 Congrats on the launch!
Review of Whimsical Docs
I always have whimsical open. It's my number 1 whiteboard & documentation app outside of notion. In fact, I use it so much that I ended up turning it into a "desktop app" using chrome (Click 3 dots menu > more tools > create a shortcut > Check the "open as window" box > now it can open as a separate chrome instance dedicated to whimsical).
