This seems a bit similar in nature to Waverly Labs Pilot, but I couldn't understand how exactly Travis is operated (even after browsing the landing page and watching the video). Does it has a microphone and a loudspeaker?
Assuming I got the operation mode right, I also couldn't understand what kind of the technology is behind Travis (the one powering speech recognition, machine translation, and speech synthesis) and where it comes from.

@double_u_d Difference between Travis and Waverly Labs Pilot is that Travis is not limited for when it comes to translating conversations. With Travis you can have a conversation with more than two people, because of the built-in sensitive microphone and loud speaker.
For the backend, we use 8 translating engines combined with each other in order to get the most accurate translation as possible. Besides that when someone is speaking with an accent and / or with grammar/spelling errors, the device will be using AI to recognize patterns in the speech and translate it.
