projects are cool, easy add stuff by forwarding email to special project alias. macOS native app works a bit sluggishly

Pros:

task creation from email

Cons:

better macOS app

- Search on spotlight for iOS!

- In sync with Google Calendar!

- Maybe a calendar view could improve the experience!

Pros:

- Simple UI

- Easy to learn/use UX

- Smart

- Flexible for any productivity system

- Improve and adapt fast

- Great support

Cons:

- Could have better search within app

- Label managing is hard

- Could have better quick add shortcut on iOS

Organize your life with pleasure. Add due date to tasks, tasks inside projects, subprojects and subtasks. Call your friends to join your project and assign tasks for them. Comment and add images on tasks. Have your tasks everywhere with nice apps. Love it.

Pros:

easy to use; motivational gamification; a lot of free features

Cons:

none, I'm still in love

We were looking for a tool to replace Asana, and after initially testing Todoist, became certain it could be the tool for us. But sharing projects is a PITA. There's no easy way to let your team have access to all newly created projects. Also, the projects structure isn't shared, so sharing a new subproject causes havoc in the teammate's projects structure, and the teammate needs to manually configure the projects structure according to it's intended layout.

Pros:

Easy to use, simple UI, good integrations on multiple platforms

Cons:

Sharing projects with others needs improvements

I will try IFTTT to link ToDoist and Evernote as a work around to not having free tasks commenting or notes.

Pros:

Excellent task manager with simple and powerful functions. Windows and Android apps work well.

Cons:

Task comments and notes are not free. Sometimes task syncing stops in the Windows app. This is easily solved by logging out and back in.

I've been using Todoist for over 3 months now and it keeps my day organized. It's so purpose-driven and I love it for that. I've tried tracking To-do's in things like Any.do, Evernote, OneNote, Asana, etc. And Todoist has been by far the simplest solution for tracking and prioritizing my days.

It has significantly helped me from forgetting tasks and helps me picture what I need to tackle in that day. By prioritizing my daily tasks, I can also anticipate when to say no.

Similarly, I've setup "everyday" or "every Friday" tasks that include things like reading a book or remembering to put flea repellant on my dog. I have already recommended it to several friends and even my boss.

Pros:

- Quick task adding + text recognition for dates, priorities and projects are killer!

- Clean, beautiful UI

- Available on all devices

Cons:

- Still love it! Got the Pro version within a week

Using it since 2 years and loving it, which is quite an achievment for a to-do freak like me.

Pros:

slick client app, multiplatform, "ai powered" bulk reschedule, calendar intergration, karma, multiple reminders, DSL, active development

Cons:

some of the essential features only for premium accounts

I've been using Todoist for more than two years (at least). It is core of my task, project, work, life, management system and it is doing very well.

Support works and is pretty responsive (I got robbed of my weekly streaks during holiday periods even with vacation mode on, I think I might do sth wrong, this is not intuitive).

I recently started to look for alternatives, however, I'm still very attached to this piece of software. I see you work on it and improve overall functionality. Good job

Pros:

simple

nice Android app (works on other platforms too)

Karma points to motivate (works for me)

Cons:

After reaching Grand Master level this whole karma thing stopped motivating me. It will take years to get to Enlightened so why bother?

Just I guess Price is bit too much as compared to other free alternatives

Pros:

Simple. Clean. Dark theme 😍

Cons:

None.

Tried Todoist about a year ago, and had to switch back to Wunderlist after having repeating tasks break constantly

Pros:

Lots of options for organizing tasks.

Lots of 3rd party integrations

Alexa support

Cons:

`every` is unusably buggy so if you want daily reminders this isn't the app for you

NO LIKEY

Pros:

NONE

Cons:

Can't see completed tASKS WITHOUT PREMIUM ACCOUNT

The Todoist app is ruthlessly efficient in helping me capture my tasks no matter when or where I am. Bring collaborators into a project, or a task is a snap. When I'm creating a recurring task, and hopefully a positive habit, or when I am reflecting on my productivity, Todoist works.

Pros:

beautiful, thoughtful design on all devices

Cons:

none

Love the app, I used wunderlist before but for free version, todoist is does the job better for me

Pros:

great way to schedule by typing the date and time rather than having to pick a date on a calendar and a time with a clock

Cons:

some UX bug when addign time manually rather than typing it

Todoist is one of the best, if no the best todo app. Quite minimalistic and simplistic, but pretty powerful. For me, it provides almost a "symbiotic" experience - works the way I think. A task menu would be fantastic.

Pros:

Very fast, education discount, quick add task on mobile, integrations

Cons:

Windows app almost doesn't work, slow rollout of new features, no task menu
