Other authors, other coders, other programmers "in the trenches" all come to the same conclusion: this book rocks. It's helpful, it's fresh and witty enough to be readable, and nearly everyone would never dare sacrifice their copy. Just buy your programmer buddy another copy, and keep yours close to your heart, and your computer.
Picked it up a few days ago, excited to read through it 😄
Report
Just finished reading it yesterday. It's nice in that it gives you knowledge from the cumulative experience of other industry programmers. Although the examples look a little dated now, the reader manages to get the crux of the necessary information. Pretty much a must read for anyone starting out or with little experience in the field.
