This was the first PKD book I read and it felt like a surreal dream. Although the style was distinctive and the premise thought-provoking, I can't say I enjoyed it all that much. It felt to me like the characters often made inconsistent decisions and acted according to a predefined plot. It was dark, immersive, and deeply strange but ultimately unsatisfying.
