Evernote

Totally abandoned, I used to love this app but since it has been purchased by Italian company Bending Spoons nothing much has been fixed anymore. I am switching to Joplin web clipper.

way too expensive, no ai features except for some cleaning features for notes, no hashtags, rediculously priced. Use MemX (mem.ai) instead!

While Notion is the best for organizing notes and managing projects, Evernote simplicity and minimal approach make it one of the best capture/ quick notes tools. I use it to note quick ideas, daily shopping lists, and class notes. It can also capture audio recordings and scan documents, and it has an inbuilt calender and to-do list feature with built-in reminders. It has the best web clipper among all the note-taking apps. The only negative is the lack of customization and a very bad code formatting. Evernote should integrate syntax highlighting and a few simple customization features like changing the color from Green to something else.

Have been using evernote for more than 10 years, currently a paid user, but can't believe I still have to go through the persisting conflicting copy issue. I didn't switch completely to Notion because Evernote works offline and able to perform image-search, I might need to reconsider and look for alternative now.

Been ages since i used it. One note is a free and for me equally good alternative. when I used it, Evernote used up a lot of resources on my laptop

In the recent times, the interface feels more dated and cluttered. Also, after the new take over, the performance has been decreased as it no longer uses on device storage and relies completely on retrieving from cloud each time.

Overall, I would highly recommend evernote to anyone in need of a powerful and reliable software solution
