Although this book is not strictly about business *cough* I felt that Robert Greene's book on the nature of seduction could very easily be read as a business primer. Through historical examples of courtesans, Don Juans, and politicians, Greene outlines a path to mesmerize and transfix a 'victim.' Please do not consider your customers 'victims,' but otherwise, a lot of the advice is transferrable.

Read this many years ago, great book but I do think I scared someone a bit when they saw it on the living room table :)

This classic tome collects and analyzes some of history’s greatest seducers and seductions, and provides a great framework for understanding the types of seducers, seducees, and techniques used. Where The Game and pickup artistry tend to focus on walking up to strangers and creating attraction in the least amount of time, the Art of Seduction stretches the timeframe out and explores long-term, often labor-intensive seductions.
