Teleprompt.me

The only web-based voice controlled teleprompter!

#4 Product of the DayJanuary 12, 2019

(Chrome Only) A voiced controlled teleprompter that uses your PC's built in microphone to scroll as you speak. Made to scratch my own itch – I have a hard time memorizing scripts for Youtube videos and it makes recording and editing a pain. So this helps a ton! Most other teleprompter apps and websites, use auto scroll - and that's pretty weak.

    Pros:

It’s crazy simple. The voice recognition is solid and the Autoscrolling is amazing.

    Cons:

Chrome on desktop only. Not on mobile ( <--I hope this comes soon!! )

Just tested a 15 minute monologue to test and knocked it out in one take. The auto scrolling based on what the microphone hears is incredible, especially for natural pacing.

Brilliant idea, @iamcoreyg. Where'd the idea come from? Do you do very much public speaking yourself?
@rrhoover Yoo thanks Ryan! I got the idea after getting frustrated with my inability to speak in front of a camera lol, making videos is a bit out of my comfort zone but I want do it more and eventually get into some public speaking.
Hopefully I can get my Youtube channel off the ground now 🤷🏾‍♂️
This is without a doubt the easiest and best working teleprompter webapp I’ve ever used (and I’ve tried A TON of them). The voice tracking is outstanding and the autoscrolling is phenomenal. Great Job @iamcoreyg 👏 👏 👏 👏
Impressive. Is it just available unlimited on the teleprompt site, or does it require a license or login for a full version with more features?
@nathan_relles It’s totally free right now, but I might a user authentication system and the ability to write and store scripts as paid features.
Just tested. THIS IS AWESOME!
