πŸ‘‹ Hey Product Hunt! I wanted to have a simple tool where I can search for people across different social platforms in one place. Thus the idea for https://TalentSearch.cc - a search engine leveraging Google's custom search to find candidates and people for different projects, ideas, and businesses. It currently supports LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, StackOverflow, Behance, GitHub, Dribbble, CodeCanyon, CodePen, IndieHackers, ProductHunt, ArtStation, AngelList, Unity Connect, and Instagram. I work with many freelance talents - technical developers, artists, UI/UX designers, content marketers...etc. Finding good talents is not an easy task. Instead of posting jobs and look through resumes and CVs, what I like to do is going to social platforms where talents naturally hang out and share their work, and find the people I want to work with. (blog post on this subject: https://blog.markd.co/2019/03/12...) Please give it a go and I would love to hear your feedback on this!

Agree that social, portfolio platforms are a nice place to start for recruiting.

Pros:

Useful way to get information all in one place when looking for candidates for a specific role.

Cons:

Time consuming. Need a way to filter out those who are definitely not interested in new opportunities. Need support for remote hiring.

Thanks for the review Angela. I agree, it certainly would be great to be able to filter out people who aren't looking, or have some way to integrate other hiring process to it. Thanks for the feedback!
