There are hundreds maybe even thousands of keyword tools. I would like to hear from the founders on why this is different.

Hi @dredurr - Many of the other tools is about Google suggests, numbers and spread sheets. Our target is different: We dumped the nerdy stuff and designed our product with the creative copywriter in mind. We work hard with machine leraning (in Beta), so StoryBase will learn with each user, and be able to suggest more relevant and unique content ideas over time. We also present a demographic breakdown of the people who are interested in your topic (age and gender). It helps you build personas for your stories and content. What do you think?

@flensted the best is google Keyword planner. Out of the 100s on the market I use maybe 3 when I just want a quick suggestion. It seems like story base. Will suggest new keywords based on search volume. If I'm correct? That is a great idea because learning what are the latest trending keywords is important. I'm unsure what you mean by demographic breakdown for topics

Hi @dredurr, I completely agree that Google Keyword Planner is very useful, we constructed StoryBase a little differently because we feel there are many other great websites providing data we think writers can benefit from rather than just Google (who we also use). We collect all of it (including search volume from some sources like Google) and bring it together in the simplest way possible so our users can see what is trending. We believe this makes it not only more useful, but a real time-saver. What Audience does is show StoryBase users a breakdown of things like the age and gender of people who are searching for a given topic, so they can better understand who their target audience might be. I really hope you will enjoy using StoryBase, and can’t wait to hear what everyone thinks!

Interesting product. Seems similar to some keyword research tools SEO and internet marketers often use, but friendly enough for the casual blogger. Helps to identify terms people are searching for so that you're not missing out on potential organic traffic because of semantics. Also, helps generate article ideas.

Hi Product Hunters, give StoryBase a try! As a blogger, SEO or copywriter you want fresh new ideas for your stories. You want the power to see the world through your readers’ eyes, but you hate endless spreadsheets and eye-glazing numbers. That’s why we made StoryBase so simple. We dumped the nerdy stuff and made all our features easy to understand and a breeze to use. Our flagship feature, Questions, shows you the most important questions being asked by your potential readership on a given subject. With understanding of the questions being asked about your topic, you can create content with relevant answers that resonates with your audience. We appreciate feedback and suggestions. This seems to be more user friendly then other tools out there. I can see this being helpful to less experience marketers, but also resourceful for us more experienced marketers. With showing the popularity of questions being asked in your market will save me time from having to manually research this so I can create targeted pages. Good job
