We actually wrote a long piece on this (https://getstencil.com/blog/how-...), but the short of it was we outgrew our previous name and brand. Stencil is almost an entirely different product, light-years ahead of Share As Image, and we wanted a name to reflect that, and how quickly and easily you could use our tool to get things done.
