For people who use Caps Lock or ESC as "hyper" key, this is a bigger "hyper" key, with nested keys support.

@cguo8 How do you cope with the spacebar function in Safari and QuickLook?
Chen Guo@cguo8 · Developer
@t55 Hi Ton, Thank you for your comment. When users release spacebar without typing any pre-defined keys, SpaceLauncher will simulate a spacebar keystroke. So in most cases, spacebar functions work as usual. For typing spacebar once, this works well. But for holding spacebar, in Safari, holding will trigger scroll down continuously, in Finder, hold and re… See more

Awesome idea, but for some reason it doesn't work for me. I see the black window, but the actions don't do anything.

Absolutely love it! this is like efficiency porn. I'm trying to set up similar shortcuts so that if I do cmd+no it writes out prewritten text for me. So for example I want to write a nice no thank you email to people quickly and efficiently and I found a site to help try and set it up through Automator but do you have any ideas on this side too?

@max_sinclair Hi Max, Thank you. For now, with SpaceLauncher, you can set a pre-defined key to run an AppleScript. Like this, > delay 1 # the delay is necessary to wait for spacebar released > tell application "System Events" to keystroke "your message" You can set several AppleScript like this, and put them in a group. e.g. spacebar + t + a to input s… See more

Highly interesting approach! I have a suggestion: I'd like to have an option for showing ONLY comments in the popupw indow (for those actions you've actually entered a comment). Right now it gets a bit cluttered seeing both comments and URLs. I also find it hard to tell why some items are dimmedo ut while others are not in the popup.

@henrikcederblad Hi Henrik, thank you for your comment. I has just changed hint window's styles. The change will appear in next update. Basically, the strong (dark or bold) text means you haven't used this action for a long time. Dimmed text means you just used the corresponding action recently. About the option for showing only comments in hint window, I'm… See more

@henrikcederblad Hi Henrik, I couldn't reach you via Twitter. Here is a new version which hide URLs if comments exist in hint window. I hope this is what you want. http://d.pr/f/OmCAwS
