Hello everyone! 👋 Founder and developer of Shubox here. I'm here to make myself available for any questions that you might have regarding shubox.io and what it can do for you. It's a nice, contained, little app that aspires to make your life easier when it comes to uploading, resizing, transforming, and most of all, giving you the room and the tools to make it work exactly how you WANT it to work.
If there's a differentiator between Shubox and the other great services, it's that it gives you the tools on the front-end to make the uploading process behave and look exactly how you would like. The hard stuff — getting it from your browser to S3, transforming your images — you can leave that to us too. Shubox also provides all of its event (upload, transform) information back to you and your app via webhooks.
We have many things in the works that aim to make things as *easy as possible* for our customers and implementers so do feel free to let us know what YOU would like to see in a service like this.

@jamesdevonport yes indeed, sir. It does. In fact I have recently integrated it with a client app to upload Excel spreadsheets for some legacy data extraction. Worked like a charm!

@djtarazona Depends on what you mean by validation. Limiting what type of files are being uploaded — yes, totally. But in terms of some sort of validation being applied to the files that are uploaded? No.
I would love to hear more about what your use case for this sort of requirement would be though, @djtarazona. It sounds like it would certainly be useful!

It mostly comes down to control. While filestack does a lot (amazingly I might add), I'm turned off by that giant modal window UX. Mind you, I'm unaware if that is the only option these days - it's been a while since I tried integrating it.
The deal with shubox is that it gives you the tools do so similar things but with the flexibility to make it look and behave exactly how you want it. Like:
* Gmail's add attachment
*GitHub's drag and drop and link to images
* Etc
