Thanks for posting this :) "Real world testing" was definitely a big takeaway too. Attendees were pretty interested in that topic, and TDD was far less common of a practice than I would have expected.

This was definitely a great episode and learned a lot from the perspective of teaching. From the perspective of a someone learning the api first approach, fairly early in their career, it can be a struggle but if you can get past the initial hurdle and work hard at it, I think the benefits will pay off significantly in the long run.
