I was new to meditation at the time and learning about mindfulness from reading Thich Nhat Hanh's books. I was looking for a way to really apply what I learned and practice mindfulness on a daily basis, and fortunately found Plum Village. It really helped me build my meditation habit and, in turn, changed my life. I'm still meditating daily now, and I have the app to thank for it.

Review of Plum Village
I've been meditating for about six months to a year now with several apps. Plum Village is one of the more peaceful options, focusing on silence and mindfulness over someone talking in your ear the entire time. I like this quite a bit since I feel like meditation is should be a slower process that brings us closer to ourselves, as opposed to trying to use meditation for getting better with work or whatever. Anyway, it's taking me some time to adapt to the Buddhist style of meditation but I really like it. I've shared this app with my dad and several friends who I know meditate. The app is pretty bug-free, easy to navigate, and you don't get looped in for some high monthly payment (which is very popular for meditation apps). I love it so far and plan on continuing my use every morning.

This is a great go to for developing a practice. It’s also great to refresh your practice when tired or to share with others who are curious about practicing. I enjoy the bell of mindfulness for waking up all day long.

Definitely recommend. This app is such a gift to the global mindfulness community of practitioners. I love how it shares core and varied practices from a range of monastics. The deep relaxations, songs, guided meditation... such deep, beautiful content. Thank you for this loving offer to support us on the path.

This is a really helpful app and I'd stress that you don't need to be a Buddhist or to know anything about Buddhism to benefit from the many guided meditations it offers. Indeed, the best way to encounter Buddhism is to find out what it can do for you! I owe a deep debt of gratitude to the makers for this app, which has been such a good companion in lockdown.

We use this app pretty regularly in my house. It is wonderful for everyone- whether you’re new to meditation or have a strong practice. I highly recommend it. It is also a really great way to access Thich Naht Hanh’s teachings as well.

As a Buddhist practitioner without a close Sangha, this app has been invaluable to me during meditation and also to simply soak in the Dharma. Thay tells us not to strain at the Dharma but to relax and let it fall upon us like the rain. It will soak into the appropriate places on its own.
