We at Shape have been using PlateJoy for the past two months. It's been a a great service for us to try interesting new low-carb dishes that we otherwise wouldn't have cooked. Definitely recommend it if you want to try something new.

PlateJoy rocks. Food is a crowded space, but PJ is pretty different. Fans food on wheels startups are satisfying when you're in a hurry, but they aren't great for you and you get sick of them pretty quick or if you don't want to feed your kids fast/restaurant food every day. On the other side, grocery delivery let's you make great good, but you have to do all the work of putting together the recipes, ordering the right stuff, etc. PJ is great because you tell it how you want to eat, it gives you recipe options, and you get all the right stuff. It even works if you're not a good cook. Definitely give it a try. Note: I'm a very happy investor as well as customer.

I got PlateJoy after I cooked the following in two weeks in a row: Chicken Fajitas, Beef Tacos, Spaghetti Bolognese, Chicken Fajitas, Takeout, Takeout, Takeout. I came to terms with the fact that I'm a lazy cook who could use a little help. Then I found the app that everyone thinks should exist: the app that just tells you what your going to eat, what you need to buy to eat it, and how to cook it. It didn't exist before, but now it does: PlateJoy. PlateJoy is not a food delivery service. PlateJoy is not training wheels for people who don't know a cutting board from a cubano. PlateJoy is not dozens of tiny plastic packets of sugar and herbs packed in a distribution center and drop shipped to your house wrapped in ice cubes. PlateJoy is a way for you to do something you already wanted to do: cook healthy meals every night with ingredients you like from the store down the street. Minimal thinking, good food, easy to tweak if you want, and very low food waste. BTW: my meals this week: Open-faced prosciutto, egg and arugula sandwich, Thai-style tilapia with red curry sweet potatoes, and Soba noodle stir-fry with green beans and egg. Oh and Prosciutto-wrapped dates.

I absolutely love PlateJoy. I've been using it for the past 8 months and have gotten a bunch of my friends to use it too. It's been super helpful in a lot of ways: --way more variety in my cooking/meals --adds and element of surprise to meal planning (I look forward to seeing new meals for the week) --helps me stay healthy despite dietary restrictions/food allergies --makes grocery shopping more efficient/less stressful --save money grocery shopping because I'm not buying random stuff I also love that PlateJoy really cares about its users. They NPS customers regularly, and their founder has personally responded to my comments. They're always adding new features based on users' feedback. Basically, it's super affordable and awesome, and y'all should all try it.

I've been using PlateJoy for about 8 months now and it has made meal planning for my husband and I so stress-free. I used to spend a few hours every Sunday deciding what to make for the week having to balance my own personal preferences with my husband's - and then on top of that trying to find recipes that used similar ingredients so that we didn't waste food. Grocery shopping was disorderly, hodge-podge guesswork for me, but Platejoy has almost completely removed these cumbersome tasks from me now. After a few weeks of using Platejoy, we bought a bulletin board for the kitchen in order to pin the printed recipes so that we both are aware of what's available in the fridge to make for the week. This has been a HUGE help because we never get home at consistent times - so whoever gets home first can start making dinner right away without any guesswork as to what's in the fridge or not. I highly recommend this to anyone that wants to ensure you're cooking at home at least a few times a week. I'd be interested to see future partnerships they forge - like LifeSum or MyPlate.

I love the customization with portion sizes and ingredients. PlateJoy has introduced my family to healthier meals that meet our preferences. The app makes shopping a breeze. I usually use a hand written shopping list and several times have been saved by referencing the app. We have so many new favorites from using Platejoy!

I absolutely love PlateJoy. This app has been a godsend. I want to eat healthy, but have gotten so bored with the recipes I already know. Every week, I get a customized shopping list and dairy-free recipes (which my tummy is glad for). The food is delicious, variety is plenty, and the recipes are easy! PlateJoy, thank you for making my food life easier!

I have been using PlateJoy for the past 6 months or more and absolutely love it!! It is incredibly easy to use and they are constantly adding new features and acting on feedback from users. Everyone is super responsive and goes above and beyond in emailing extra suggestions. Some of my favorite features include: -The ability to exclude certain ingredients from recipe searches - as a picky eater it can be hard to search for healthy meals online. Plus they offer great suggestions for substitions as an alternative to excluding ingredients. -You can choose recipes that allow for left-overs or just for single meals - it can be hard cooking for one to not have a crazy amount of leftovers or eat over the size out of a big bowl, but all the ingredients and nutrition information are already calcuated for a perfectly sized single meal. -The site keeps track of the ingredients in your pantry to help you use them up and save money. Overall, I would highly recommend PlateJoy. The cost is a great deal, customers are highly values, and it adds excitement to meal planning and eating healthy.

I really enjoy this product. I am a vegan and even though I have my own recipes, Platejoy has provided me with more. Their recipes are very delicious and more important, I didn't have to go through the trial and error period of getting the recipe to taste right. I also love that I can use the service as much or as little as I want each week. I am enjoying their service and the benefits save me time and make my taste buds dance!
