Good concept to help save the environment. Reminds me of the Forest app. Would be nice to get more information about where exactly these trees are going to be planted and how this actually works before I throw money into it though. As a user at the moment, I feel like I have no real guarantee that these trees will be planted.
@dkb868 Thanks for your comment Dmitri! ❀️ I just updated the about page to explain with more details all the process !! 🌱
@grsl_fr Awesome, cant wait to see the stats on how many trees get planted!
@dkb868 @grsl_fr First off, want to say I think this is a cool idea and like that you took the time to add additional info on where the money goes. WeForest seems like a good non-profit for the planet so I think it's a good movement to support. My qualm is about the price of these trees and where exactly the money goes. I noticed on your other project Bourgad that you list a guarantee of at least 70% of the proceeds going to these charities. I get that 100% of the proceeds going to charities isn't super feasible as there's work to be done to keep up the service and such (read: nothing is free). But I noticed on this project that you list no similar guarantee. I was curious about the cost of a tree via this organization and here's what I found after clicking around the WeForest website for awhile: * Brazil $3 / tree - * Zambia - $1 / tree - * India - $1 / tree - So after this cursory search it seems that at best you're giving 100% of the proceeds to this charity and at worst you're giving 33% of the proceeds. Now I know that Stripe probably takes a cut but even if they were to take a whole 33% of that cut, it still means that at worst you're only giving 50% of the proceeds to charity. ($3 * 0.66 = $2, $1 / tree / $2 income => 50% given for tree) So again, I think this is a cool project and I'm glad it's geared towards making the world a better place, I'd just like to see a little more transparency into how this money is going to be used and why it's being used that way. This, I think, is often the difference between an effective charitable project and an ineffective one. Cheers!
⁉️ Why I built - everyone can simply plant 🌳 - I'm πŸ‡«πŸ‡·, Notre-Dame burned. +$2 billion were raised for its reconstruction in 48 hours. How much can our planet collect? - promote my 2nd project wich is - built a #nocode app in -5 hours
This is a very good idea ! I will follow this project closely ! 🌳🌱

How long have you been running the site for? What are you doing to market such a progressive initiative?
Environmental protection is really an important issue today! Good idea!
@vinzenzrod +1 πŸ™ŒπŸŒ³ Thanks Vinzenz !
