Hi Hunters! Currently, the world recycles just 9% of its plastic. That's crazy. We thought about that a lot while we spent months and months feeding Oscar hundreds of thousands of the strangest pieces of trash we could find. Finally, we're so excited to say - he's here, and he's smart! We built Oscar to help make your life a little easier, but there's a little more to it. Because Oscar is AI, by using him, you're also teaching Oscars (and their people!) all around the world to recycle better. Oscar is now live on Kickstarter, and we're stoked to give you guys first access to early bird prices - starting at just $299! (retailing next month at $799) We hope you'll adopt Oscar into your home - he's excited to get to work, and we're excited to hear what you think! Roc

@d_qu_c_d_t we're on kickstarter! early bird prices start at just $299 :) Oscar will retail at $799, so now's a pretty good time to go for it!
Beautiful product, but I feel I like I might need more explaining about how the AI works?

@quangvo18 Oscar has an AI camera on the top of the lid, a camera inside the classifying capsule and a noise sensor. These cameras take photos of the trash and a noise sensor that will record the sound. The images and sounds are then used by the neural network to sort your rubbish. He’s always learning, if there’s something he doesn’t recognize, just tell him what it is and he’ll pass it on to the oscar network, so they all learn together.
Wow, I didn’t expect to see this today. Is it going to be in shops?
