Reviews

  • Pros:

Does it says it will do. Fast and efficient.

    Cons:

You an't create custom folders as far as I can tell, only rename the groups already created by OneTab.

It's amazing. 99% of the time I never go back to the tabs I save, but that's the beauty of it. I think most of the people who suffer form having tens of tabs open suffer from the version of FOMO. OneTab is a perfect solution for that - you tell yourself you won't miss out or lose the website you want to read "later", because it's safely saved, but you actually don't have to go back to it and waste time on it, while your brain is perfectly happy and calm knowing, that if you need to go back to it, you can.

    Pros:

I'm addicted. It saves my checklist life from being kept in tabs.

    Cons:

It's minimalistic. Basic design without a lot of functionality, but that's all I need.

I LOVE IT. OneTab keeps me sane.

Faith in humanity, myself, technology and productivity restored! Also goes great with "The Great Suspender"-plugin for the most extreme of us...

@preben_frenning I agree that "The Great Suspender" is a great help for my tab hoarding. I've always been reluctant to try "OneTab" because I feel like I'd just forget about the tabs that get converted to a list. Part of my issue is that I use tabs as like an in-your-face todo list. Collapsing into a list seems like it will make them a forgettable list. Am I missing something?

@thibaultmilan @preben_frenning My suggestion: Great Suspender + Session Buddy and you've got your tab hoarding in check :)

@omicaustin Thanks for the suggestion! Gonna try all three and see what works. I sometimes use Trello and create cards for tabs.
