Fun little iMessage app that creates little GIFs of your recent photos to share with friends: Reminds me of that Auto Awesome feature in Google+, which is now in Google Photos, and now, in turn, Google Photos will let you convert Live Photos into GIFs. Momento is nice because it'll use any of your photos, not just Live Photos. See more

@techtosterone @chrismessina Exactly! Using smart algorithm that finds photos with similar times I'm able to create cool animated GIFs for many photos and not only live photos.

@genadyo @chrismessina I still am hard pressed to understand how it is different from Google photos. Google Photos algorithm is also pretty darn smart. So they keyword "smart" doesn't do it for me. @techtosterone Again, You can use a lot of tools to create GIFs. The magic here its done automatically inside iMessage without feeding manually anything. I never saw someone looking into 3 years ago and manually creating GIFs just because he wants to send something inside iMessage - here you have all of them ready to go.
