Such a simple, straightforward concept -- perfect for Dolores Park in the summer! (Though might be geographically restricted at the moment).

Merienda Picnic is an on-demand service that aims to eliminate the hassle of planning and packing for a picnic. Currently based in New Orleans, we partner with local cheese, charcuterie and wine shops to offer a selection of highly curated picnic baskets prepared daily, a concept we would be replicating as we expand to other cities. Our services aim to encourage users to spend meaningful time with friends and family, while exploring all the beautiful green space each city has to offer! Our next stop is Austin, Texas and we're currently developing an app that will include suggested picnic locations for each city, order tracking and splitting fares for larger picnic groups! What would your ideal picnic include?

Not gonna lie. I'm a proud picnic-er. So this gets my vote. Even if we solve time travel, colonize planets, and get flying cars - picnics will be around in 10,000 years. It's the cheapest, best way to eat with friends. This startup also gets bonus points for being based in New Orleans.

Andrea, congrats on all the hustle in NOLA getting this off the ground. I'm excited to get back home to try it out. And agree with Robert & Chris, you're next expansion city should be SF, you'll kill it in Dolores Park.

@cschultz Slight advice - Don't expand to SF next - in fact - just to be different - choose a real test of demand - try a place like Des Moines or Jackson Hole, WY
