MacClean found ~3.55GB, while CleanMyMac 3 found 4.03GB. I think MacClean falls in line with the "good enough" idea in software. It's free, and easy for someone to quickly use.  See more

@gregbarbosa Nice comparison. I was going to do the same since I'm extensively reviewing CleanMyMac 3. By the way, what did you use to capture/ upload those perfect screenshots?

@gregbarbosa @irvingtorresyc You can use shift + command + 4 and once it's in screenshot mode, press the space bar and the icon will change to a camera, allowing you to take a picture of the selected app and display it exactly like the above pictures. :) It's baked into your mac.

@gregbarbosa @kevinmcalear No way! This is really neat. I honestly didn't know this and here I thought I was a "mac man". Thanks so much. The PH community rocks!!!!

Hi@gregbarbosa , yes, MacClean version 1 is designed to facilitate the cleaning process. In the next version, our developer will add more practical features, and it will be also free.

@irvingtorresyc Specifically for these screenshots, I launched Preview, then selected File > Take Screenshot > From Window. You could also use Grab which is installed on your Mac. But @kevinmcalear's answer taught me something new too :)

@kevinmcalear @gregbarbosa Great tips. Thank you. Looks like Macs come preloaded with a ton of useful stuff (stuff I didn't even know about).
