Would you recommend this product?

Instantly! In just one moment I had access to all the photos on my Mac. And it made me realize that there are folders and shoots I thought I got read of years ago.

I've used Luminar before so I'm kinda used to its editing power (AI filters and LUTs are my favorite) but that libraries thing completely blew my mind. Great job!

Pros:

User friendly, great result, looks cool

Cons:

search by keywords

New Luminar with Libraries is GREAT! Thank you folks at Skylum for the awesome product! For sure, it is not perfect with the first libraries release, but looks like a perfect Lightroom alternative in the nearest future.

Pros:

AI powered editing tools, easy to use, sync edit adjustments, smart support team

Cons:

Updated version looks good, but has lots of things to be fixed

I love to inspire and help others

Luminar 3 proven to be not only the easiest photo editing tool I have ever used but also a perfect Photo Management software, owing to brand new DAM technology.

Pros:

Dozens of features, photo filters and presets.

Cons:

Have found none.

Been using it for a while, and love seeing progress over last several months.

Pros:

Innovative tools, thinking about the future, moving fast, and really focused on the community.

Cons:

Sometimes can be a bit buggy (fixes have been coming pretty fast), and slow (although need to test it on a faster than a 2014 laptop).

It's amazing how quickly you can get stunning results in so little time.

I love the feature that you can apply presets straight in the libraries to many photos at a time. Really useful and saves a ton of time.

Pros:

Easy to use interface, AI Accent, Sky Enhancer

Cons:

It's way easier and faster to produce a vivid web-ready image with Luminar compared to my Lightroom Classic experience

Pros:

Luminar is intuitive and I particularly like the embedded filters collection, they match my taste quite a lot

Cons:

It's somewhat sluggish around large (1000+) collections of RAWs

Luminar is very helpful app to make photos from my trips much better. Mostly I use just several filters: Accent AI, Saturation, Sky enhancer, Highlight/shadows. Few sliders - and my photos from amateur camera looks like a pro ones))

Pros:

Intuitive user interface

Multiple looks in one click

AI and Sunrays smart filters

30-day trial available. No credit card required

Cons:

Sometimes It takes a long time to show previews for looks for RAW files

I've been using Luminar as a RAW photo editor since it came out in 2016 and it just keeps getting better and better. This latest version is a fantastic step forward with even more advanced AI-powered tools, cool and instant-on "Looks", and of course the new library. I've been pleasantly surprised by the visual presentation of my photos - really sweet - and the performance is astounding. Luminar has been my go-to photo editor for years, and now it's my go-to photo manager. Skylum's commitment to making this the best, most enjoyable photo manager/editor in the world is obvious. Goodbye Lightroom!

Pros:

Gorgeous UI, fast results, but superb "under-the-hood" power and creative possibilities!

Cons:

None really

I used it as a standalone, as a plugin, it works very well

Pros:

A lot of filters, A new Library, fast editing

Cons:

that's a great product, no cons

It's an amazing piece of software for photographers. But does not work in Linux. That's a big issue for me, would not mind paying it at all.

Pros:

Great tools easy interface

Cons:

does not work in ubuntu

I love nature and wildlife photography

I use luminar 3 for all my photo editing and love it! Before that I was using the older luminar with an older DAM.

Pros:

Love this product And use it all the time.

Cons:

Still needs a few added features to compete with current products on the market

I purchased this before the release with the hope of finding a viable LR alternative. Luminar 2018 was at least stable and had some positive editing features. The Skylar forums are filled with frustrated Mac and Windows users from date of release onward. My advice, wait and see how a dot release (or two!) come out before spending money and time.

Pros:

Great potential.

Cons:

This is not a production release in my opinion. A plethora of usability and resource issues. Feels much more like a beta than a 3.X release.
