English is a limiting language, one that doesn't allow speakers to always express themselves fully or accurately. Illustrator @ellafsanders understands this limitation and celebrates the words from around the world that simply can't be translated with beautiful hand drawn illustrations.
@ryanshook An interesting idea! A modest correction Ryan, all languages have their limitations - and special features. Monolingual people rarely get a glimpse into this since they are limited by the linguistic fishbowl in which they live - so I agree, this is an interesting sort of book for the curious.
