Localize founder here. Feel free to ask questions! You can also reach me at brandon@localizejs.com.
@localizejs @BPaton @kwdinc Is there any integration (or plans) with existing static dictionaries for translations improvements based on multiple languages comparison?
@rodrigoprior Hi Rodrigo! Localize currently offers free machine translations via Google Translate, and professional human translations for $0.06 per word. We also allow you to edit your translations manually in our web interface. I hope that answers your question. What do you mean by existing static dictionaries?
@BPaton Thanks for answering me back ;-) I've meant on cases where I can provide a multi language i18n dictionary to improve precision and avoid terms ambiguity.
We (http://webflow.com) worked with Brandon to quickly internationalize Webflow sites with Localize.js and it has been a breeze, even for non-technical users. A thorough guide is here if anyone is interested: https://localizejs.com/docs/inte...
Drop our javascript snippet into your app. Your content is automatically detected and prepared for translation.Order machine or human translations from your Localize.js dashboard, or invite team members to translate your content. Neat tool! I'd be interested to hear how accurate the machine translations turn out to be.
@riaface Localize founder here. We use Google Translate for machine translations. Machine translations are mainly useful for testing purposes. For production, you'll want to have your content professionally translated. Localize is integrated with Gengo to provide easy access to high quality translations from professional translators ($0.06 per word).
I absolutely love this concept. We all know how hard localization is, especially if not tackled right from the beginning. This is a very serious problem so I'm pretty excited to see someone come up with what looks like a unique solution. Great work! I'll be using this next time I need localization for sure.
@theericanderson Thanks Eric! Feel free to reach out if I can ever help you out brandon@localizejs.com
