Listen App

The first gesture-based podcast app for listeners on-the-go

About

Listen App is the first design-focused and gesture-based podcast app.

When you listen to podcasts, you are commuting, jogging, or maybe washing the dishes. In all cases, you prefer to use only one hand to find a new episode, add it to your queue, and continue without interruptions.

I’ve been using this app for the last couple of months now and it’s been great. I personally like ability to add custom sources for those obscure, not so popular podcasts. The currated Search/Discover feature is pretty good if you are looking for something new to listen to. I’m glad I moved over from Apple Podcasts to Listen app.

Pros:

Easy to use, great UI, variety of podcast sources and ability to import Podcasts via RSS.

Cons:

None so far.

You can see SO much more in a FAR more intuitive design that just .. makes sense.

Pros:

Simple. Beautiful. Intuitive. Snappy. Removes clutter I didn't know I was used to. Listen to me, I sound like a freakin' infomercial.

Cons:

I haven't found any yet?

I'm hooked and will patiently wait for new updates. Also, I hope the developer wants to ask more color scheme options to spice up the UI

Pros:

Good UI, great design with pretty color gradients, simple, easy to use

Cons:

Still in the early stage, so lacking of more convenient features, missing episodes for some titles, no sticky setting for each titles
