Hello PH, Sercan here. I am the co-founder and CEO of Intenseye πŸš€ Sad fact: Every 7 seconds a worker is injured on the job and in average 14 worker dies every day in the US only! Despite the health and safety regulations and manual safety checks, real-time violation awareness and incident preventions are missing in the industry. Therefore, we built Intenseye. Intenseye is an AI platform capable of connecting existing cameras in manufacturing facilities to prevent accidents. Our deep learning-powered AI models can predict and analyze body posture, ergonomics, danger zone violations, personal protective equipment usage in real-time. Based on our instant notification system facilities can stop violations before they turn into accidents. Our dream is to make manufacturing zero accidents, one worker, one facility, one city at a time! We would love to hear what you think and I am here to answer your questions :) Be Safe! Sercan

Congrats on the πŸš€ guys! I've loved Intenseye for the past year (has it been that long?) and I'm sure the new interface is going to make the entire experience even better. Please accept this Medium-style token of appreciation: πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
Hey @sercanesen! Despite not being in the construction industry, I'm incredibly curious about how this works and I've got to say I love the idea, and UI of Intenseye! Firstly, how do customers connect their existing security cameras to your interface? Secondly, would you ever consider diversifying the product for other industries, say even the most obscure, such as the education industry? I could see Intenseye being incredibly valuable for evaluating security and safety in and around schools. Congratulations on the launch and such a smart and good-looking product πŸ™
@calum wow! Thank you so much for the feedback and great questions! Our customers can connect their IP cameras by simply providing the stream URL of the camera. About the use cases, yes and in fact we tried few more verticals including security too. But analyzing public cameras with deep learning is challenging because of data protection laws. Intenseye does not use face recognition and we are safe even from that perspective. But we wanted to start with a bigger problem. Every 7 seconds a worker is injured on the job last year and we want to prevent this with cutting edge AI.
@sercanesen Fantastic, sounds really easy to set up! Certainly, using the software for such a use-case in workplace safety, is great! Hypothetically, if the legal challenges weren't there, would you ever consider using facial-tracking technology? Just in the same use-case as workplace safety, it may also be interesting for companies to understand whether it's their workplace safety parameters that are the problem or whether it's particular employees being reckless, perhaps. If you do ever decide to explore expanding the product in to the consumer market, let me know, as I'd be much happier using a product with the freedom to use my own IP cameras with a cleaner and more accessible UX than the current security system I use πŸ˜…
@calum That is a great feedback and now I want to build that product too! But for now we will save lives in manufacturing facilities. However we will let you know for sure if we rollout different use cases with our intuitive dashboard.
@sercanesen Great, glad to hear it. Congrats on the launch!
Simply brilliant!
@gozde_ozgen Thank you!
This is such a smart use of image recognition. Kudos on this idea. Is there much competition in your market?
@maddoxjack Thanks! There are some solutions solving specific single problem with sensors and IoT devices. We believe using single existing camera in the facility can prevent multiple accident types at once.
@sercanesen that's great. What you're doing by taking advantage of existing hardware makes it such a no-brainer if you already have the equipment needed. You guys reach out to any workplace insurance companies? Would be a cool way to reduce premiums for businesses while increasing safety. Sort of like the FitBit steps and health insurance.
@maddoxjack we should talk more in depth about our business development with you! And yes we started our initial conversations with insurance companies. They loved the idea and how we perform against violations.
