The statment that they are new gold standard for wireless earbuds is corresponding to it's features and functionality.

Pros:

- Unique Design

- Noice cancellation

- Advanced touch control

- Water resistance

- Wireless charging

Cons:

I belive that 17 hours battery life is a bit amplification, it would be amazing if it's not.

Share
@albertshepherdson They do not have any active noise cancellation. They only block noise by closing your ear. Battery Lifetime without recharging is poor, sometimes under 3 hours. Wireless charging takes hours. And the best... very bad blueetooth connection. Even on a bike with the iPhone in the front pocket of the shorts they are losing connection.

@albertshepherdson Just stumbled upon the campaign again so i thought i'd share my feedback.. I've used the hyphens for about 5 months and I gotta say, apart for a couple of times where i had to reset them (they lost connection with each other), they are great. Sound is deep, the commands are super useful (you have to get used to them a bit), and the design is just sexy
Research weirdo.

and let's forget about airpods

Pros:

dope design, wins over other earbuds with functionality

Cons:

i should have known about them earlier

Believe You CAN and You're Halfway There

I've been looking for earbuds to order for about 3 months, but in other earbuds I liked neither the design, nor the features. These ones are the combination of everything I need. So many thanks to creators!

Pros:

Cheap, Cool design, Variety of colors

Cons:

Can't wait to receive mine :(

Share
@ani_hakobyan You should not write anything before you hold them in your hands. Or at least you should update after receiving...

Pros:

That 15 second fast charging is a game changer tho :o

Cons:

They claim the earbuds can carry up to 5 hours of charge, plus up to 23 hours from the case. Yet to stress test but just had a 4+ hour session with the earbuds before battery out. I joined the campaign early on at $39 with free wireless charger, currently at $69, and post-campaign will be $139. For the range of $39 to 139, I won't expect top-notch sound. Nevertheless it's good quality, balanced profile (not fan of crazy heavy bass as in typical Sony). Noticed some new details of songs I thought I was so familiar with. Another reviewer mentioned about glues and joints. My experience is not quite the same. I didn't notice glue, while it appeared to have some tiny shreds of clear plastic around the clear plastic plate, which can easily be brushed off. Parts may not be seamlessly put together but not far from that.

Pros:

Decent price, good quality. Visually lower profile. Good Bluetooth range. Compact yet feels pretty solid, and I don't mean heavy.

Cons:

Case lid is a separate part, clumsy. Right bud placed on left side of the case. Wish the case has a better indication of battery level.

People, i just received mine in white colour. Sound quality: same as wired headphone comes with any iPhone/iPod. Little more bass though. Not Gold standard as they have claimed during campaign. Built quality, horrible, nothing like Swiss design like. Glue flowing outside, all joints are not seamlessly aligned. Some spots polycarbonate is like vomiting. Till Rolling Square address this do not buy it. I was stupid, as i also backed their first project, which was their mini USB key ring charging cable, micro USB and lighting, both died after 2 months. I realised this today when i contacted their support.

Pros:

Sound quality is decent

Cons:

Built quality very poor

Just don't buy it.

Pros:

Sleek design

Cons:

poor pairing, is unreliable, skips forward unexpectedlyo, earbuds split then must be restarted to correct, restart takes 3-4 tries.

This is not a finished product.

Pros:

Price

Cons:

-Touch controls dont respond. - BT has terrible connection.

Share
Bluetooth is unreliable. Microphone makes it impossible make calls. Earbuds fall out. Touch UX such that if a piece gets out of alignment in ear, which is often, when you go to reseat it it will drop a call. Okay for sitting around the house. Barely passable for walking. Impossible for running.

Hello @lorenzoferraris — I just contributed and only saw the $39 dollar option, but I even though I tried to choose the storm grey, it wouldn't let me... I even tried all browsers, but it wouldn't work... I really wanted the storm grey but refreshed the page multiple times. My contribution ID is #16443, hopefully you can get me in on the Storm Grey (switch my order) one as that's the one I actually wanted originally. Hope you can help as I wasn't able to choose this for my order, perhaps it was a web glitch? I also shared it and one of my friends randomly bought one also! How do I claim my free charger that should come along with this also? Hope you can help me. Thank you. if you need my email also, I can provide this if necessary. Hope you can help me out! I run a review site for gadgets and other items and may also decide to give you a review if it's a positive experience. Our blog was featured on TheNextWeb, the Verge and others - If you sent me a few more, I might be able to do a full video review for you ;) Thank you!

Pros:

This product looks AMAZING, far better than Apples alternative as far as design goes - lets just hope it works like it says it does.

Cons:

a Con would be if the company rushes things to production and the device gets messed up - lets hope touch sensitivity is good. :) cheers!

Pros:

Ninguno

Cons:

Se caen de las orejas. Sonido MONO, solo por el derecho.

poop

sound is very metallic, too much emphasis on midtones, hurts the ears, impossible to listen to music longer connection unstable, touch interface unusable

Pros:

Cons:

poor sound, poor usability

Good ideas, but there might have been use cases they didn't consider when designing and testing this. It's pretty sensitive to touch, so you have to be careful if you're trying to adjust them in your ear. Learning and doing the touch gestures is a bit to learn since they're so many of them. Adding one physical button could have removed some touch gestures from the list, making it easier to control things.

Pros:

Design, lightweight, charging case is nice and portable

Cons:

Earbuds lose connection intermittently or go out of sync, very sensitive to touch, and charge doesn't last me even an entire day

Overall I'd not recommend these headphones to anyone, especially with strong competitors throughout the market. The headphones themselves fit well in the ear, but my first pair of headphones didn't charge properly. Rolling -Square suggested I send it back for a replacement after having to upload videos of the issue. They expect the customer to pay for the international shipping ($16 from California) - which I would, if it would just fix the problem. I got a replacement ear bud that has the same issues as the one before. When I addressed this with the company (via email - that's the only way to contact them), they promptly stopped responding to me. Terrible experience.

Pros:

Good fit in ears

Cons:

Poor box/charging case design. Poor connectivity. Very poor customer service, Poor quality control.

I have received them yesterday and yet I have trouble to find how to turn them on and off. I have charged the case at home and while at work they turned off and i couldn't turn them back on until i got back home yesterday. Now it seems to work fine on my iPhone even though sometimes it cuts off, though on my macbook pro they dont pair correctly then split between the right and left ear until they turn off completely and can't pair again. The commands are so clunky, it's not a 100% that skipping the song and putting the volume up works... The sound and price is okay, but nothing incredible ! The earbuds don't fit perfectly and I have tried all 4 options. It doesn't stay perfectly in, I wouldn't be confident in running with those.

Pros:

Sound and price

Cons:

Connectivity, pairing, usage, unreliable

I bought Hyphen for the 39$ deal. Definitely not gold Standard. But i guess for 39$ with wireless charging this is not bad. Pros Looks good, perfect fit. Sound quality is good for a 39$ item. Cons 1. The earpods case is very bad. tight, and the soft mate finish absorbs lot of dirt and it looks very bad. 2. There are issues with connectivity and it is not reliable. Also pairing is not very good. you need to try few times or put it in box remove it and put it again to get it paired. Kind of unreliable. 3. The glue is visible, but it wont show up anywhere. This is certainly not worth for 139$. it is a good one for $40

Filmmaker.
Pros: I only wasted $40 Cons: Poor bluetooth reliability pretty much cancels out the sleek design and decent sound quality. How am I supposed to enjoy the listening experience when I can't even connect both earbuds to my phone half the time?
