"Gymatic is the first and only app to automatically identify your exercises, count your repetitions, and log your workouts. What is more, it auto tracks many stats no human can track. Bring science to your workout!"

I've been using Gymatic for about a month now. Way better tracking than some of the dedicated lifting wearables I've tried!! Job well done to the team that built this 👏!

@thenighttrader I'm looking to buy a weightlifting wearable device. Which ones did you try?

Great find @nikkielizdemere! Curious how effective this is. Lots of exercises will not use arm movements. How can the other sensors be used to measure/detect exercises? I can imagine this working a lot better if you had two sensors—one on your arm, and another on your leg.

@kunalslab @nikkielizdemere As long as arm moves with the body (e.g., Squat), it is trackable. Leg-movement-only exercises (e.g., Leg Press) are rare, even that, some users put their hands on the knee to easily get around. Have one extra sensor is a lot more inconvenient than just wearing an Apple Watch.

I don't spend as much time in the gym as I used to these days, but I've been using Gymatic to track pushups, bodyweight squats, and ab exercises since I got my Apple Watch in January. Even more so than the automatic counting, I Iove getting feedback about form/consistency on pushups in particular.

This app is phenomenal. I was quite skeptical that it would actually be able to figure out my exercises just from the watch sensors, but it's worked nearly flawlessly. Makes my workout much easier to track!

Took me 10 minutes of use to decide it was worth purchasing the premium version. Very impressive app.

I'm admittedly more of a runner than a gym go-er. Still, I loved how Gymatic not only identified my exercises (magic, given my flailing at times!), but also forced me to have good form. Not having to keep track of of my counts is also a major win. This is my Strava for weights. Thanks Gymatic!
