@cenk Digital Ocean also does Number 2. About 1-3 you're absolutely right and I already contacted about them. They said that there will be a deactivate or delete account button very very soon. I guess they're just being lean.

@cenk How much?
Kostas Xiradakis@kostgx · Product Manager at VivaPayments
@esbvn @cenk $3.95/month/account

@cenk tnx for feedback! - Pricing link is placed in the footer. - Yes, Grum password is cleartext yet. But IG password is always absolutely encrypted and protected. - We released feature to delete account just today. It’s not so popular feature and we want to keep Grum as simple & reliable as rifle :)

@kostgx @cenk absolutely! to stay lean, simple & reliable as Porsche 911. I’m from Frankfurt (Germany), so it's the closest metaphor for me :)

@esbvn $1.95+ per account monthly

@cenk Digital Ocean does do this but only when you select the password over the SSH key.

@kostgx @cenk Digital Ocean also forces you to replace that password the first time you use it. Sending it out when it is created isn't terrible. They aren't storing it in plain text, nor are you able to continue to use that password.

@cenk in fairness, just because they send an email with the password as plain text (yes, I know, very bad practice) doesn't mean they store it in plain text. But yeh, gross.

@cenk Still the same “booooo points” a month later :( The pricing is okay but I would’ve preferred to know about it before signing up. Also, a 3-day trial is absurdly short and, again, nothing they tell you before signing up.
