Hi all, surprised to be on here as we've only just launched on Betalist and Growthstore isn't live yet, eek. Hoping we can re-submit when we do go live? (edit: apparently we're marked as 'pre-launch' so we can resubmit when we do launch, phew!). Growthstore is founded by myself and a couple of friends, and we've been growing startups for the last couple of years. Looks like a really neatly packaged startup. Love the ease of access to purchasing services without sourcing different freelancers (and having the worry of whether or not they are good/bad), and I'm looking forward to how that'll come together when you launch. Good work!

Pros:

Looks awesome! Service providers are pre-vetted, services are handpicked

Cons:

Needs more services in my opinion

@treggify We work with a couple of guys who do great work at super reasonable prices - they're very fast and often get it right 1st time, so they're more than happy to charge these prices!

@walsh_ldn Yeah it does kinda remind me of that. At the very least, I'd say designers should be charging $60 an hour for this sort of market.

@treggify Yeah our UI guy lives in the UK and charges $60/h+, but we work with people in countries (eastern Europe and Asia) who have a much lower cost of living and so charge a much lower hourly rate (for now).

@hardenbrook Hey Mike, We're in a similar market so terms will sound similar (just like Fiverr, SEOClerks etc. which came before Growth Geeks). We're previous customers of Growth Geeks and enjoyed your services, but as you have grown your prices have increased so we believe that we can provide a more cost-effective service due to our experience in the industry. Furthermore, we're really interested in providing different services that come under the 'growth hacking' branch a bit more (integrating referral campaigns, growth campaigns etc.), in addition to slightly different 'gigs' one may not find on a traditional website. As with any startup, it has often been done before but our goal is to improve on that. I appreciate your response but there really is no need to be threatened and there is nothing wrong with us competing in the same market. Thanks, James
