@riaface Thanks for mentioning Grammarly! The better link to use to get the Chrome extension is https://www.grammarly.com/ Could you update the link in the original post?
@everyone - I'm a co-founder and head of growth at Grammarly and will be happy to answer questions or provide comments.

@riaface @everyone @max_lytvyn Do you provide an extension settings page, to allow the user to control which extensions Grammarly js-injects into? FWIW, it can break other extensions.

@osakasaul Yes, this is on a ToDo list. We currently provide a way to disable it for certain sites and automatically disable it for certain conflicting extensions, but will allow more control in the future.

@max_lytvyn @riaface @everyone I've been using Grammarly for a few months now and I like it a lot. Some feedback: I'm a pretty good writer but Grammarly does catch some things occasionally that I miss. I'm inclined to purchase a subscription, but $20/month seems high for a tool I don't use that often, but when used it's great. I don't know - thoughts about your pricing structure?

@mbritt Our pricing takes into account that the premium product is not necessary for most users because the free product is good enough for the needs of most users. Users who need the premium product are less numerous, but they also extract much higher value from the product. That makes the optimal price rather high. Also, the annual plan available at about $145/year is a better deal for anyone using Grammarly on a regular basis.

@mitch_menghi Mitch, yes, signing up is essential for many advanced features to work, such as personal dictionary, storage of your documents, personal progress dashboards and many more things that would not be possible without software being able to recognize a user. We do allow some use of the product in a completely anonymous way, without an account, but the functionality is limited because of inability to recognize the user and connect sessions together.

@max_lytvyn Hey Max, been trialing it and I must say its one of the best plugins I've seen in a long time.... very useful, so well done. I want to upgrade in fact I clicked UPGRADE, however, i was a bit shocked at the price... ok $12 does not cost much, however, when I put it into perspective with other plugins it's quite a bit of money. Google Apps itself cost much less than this, some full-scale CRM solutions charge $12 or thereabouts. I'm sorry to say I may have to hold off on the upgrade unless some sort of special comes around and it's more affordable.
