About

Gone is an ephemeral to-do list. All tasks will disappear within 24 hours of adding them. Complete your tasks each day before they go away.

The whole point of a list of things to do is that they stay that way.

Pros:

Not tried it yet. I don't need more stress creators like this.

Cons:

I don't need a tool whose memory is worse than mine.

Why can't this field be blank? That's just dumb.

Pros:

I like the ephemeral funtionality.

Cons:

I'd like to see the interval be made configurable. What if users want tasks to expire sooner? Or later? Open it up to configuration. ๐Ÿ‘บ

Disappearing tasks is an old concept invented for the digital age. No more ten level nested tasks and task dependencies, just a list for today. YOLO (you only list once) is new critical path :)

Pros:

Fun to do app that creates an incentive to complete.

Cons:

If only it had the feeling of physically scratching off an item on a list

I registered, it's simple and clean, that's great.

Pros:

Simple. Clean. Fantastic.

Cons:

Terms & privacy conditions..? Help?

I have used all of them... To Do List Apps. This is great because its so simple. I also have the ongoing problem of having 37 overdue tasks whenever I open one of these apps because I either forgot to cross them off or they were trivial tasks that didnt get done.

I love this idea. Focus on the next 24 hours.

However, as it IS a website. I cannot access or add offline....

Pros:

Simple interface, Less GTD more GTDRIGHTAWAY

Cons:

No way to access offline, no way to see what tasks you've missed.

The new list everyday, gives me a new begining to not do my task. And on and on.

Lov It.

Pros:

Simple, new every day (like a post-it note), clear your mind.

Cons:

non at the momento.

Fantastic idea and I'm looking forward to seeing where it goes!

Pros:

Very simple and clean design

Cons:

Very simple feel to it, I want more coming from it to keep me engaged and using it

I guess I'd like a little more, yes even for free because I'm taking the time to sign in. Maybe a picture or a quote or a timer or countdown for task.

Pros:

Does exactly what is says it is going to do... let you create a list where things start disappearing in 24 hours.

Cons:

Almost too simple. Does and shows nothing else.

I think this is a fun idea, but don't like the fact that you lose todos. Seems counter intuitive, as it could cause more headache if the item was deleted before being completed

Pros:

Makes you order todos by importance and try to accomplish them all

Cons:

You lose all todos if they weren't completed within 24 hours

Design + development + automation.

One big problem with to-do list apps is that to-dos tend to pile up. I specifically wanted something ephemeral - just for the day. This solves it perfectly. Product/market fit achieved.

Pros:

Very simple, super fast signup. It's a very targeted app for a specific use case - nails it.

Cons:

It would be nice to be able to edit a task once added, but this is very minor.

Designer
love the concept. but it would be nice to have an archive for uncompleted tasks so I can pick them up again and see what I failed to complete! because if they just dissappear into nirvana, that will help nobody.
