Hey Product Hunters! We're proud to officially launch @gocubes this Leap Day morning! GO CUBES was a creation born out of our research into the world of nootropics / biohacking research (via @nootrobox) and our love of a warm cappuccino to start the day. Like many a curious mind, we wondered if we could make coffee better.
Could we precisely define the caffeine content and tweak the ratios of other nootropics to balance out the jitteriness and crash of coffee? Could we make the kick better for attention and focus tasks? Could we make it so you could put it in your pocket? Could astronauts take GO CUBES into space?
The answer is a resounding YES. ;)

@geoffreywoo @gocubes @nootrobox Unfortunately, I've developed an intolerance to RISE after taking consecutively for 30 days, but I'm a big advocate of SPRINT and YAWN (have been using everyday since December 2015). Can't wait to have my Indiegogo order of GO CUBES come in!

@tuneguru @gocubes @nootrobox awesome, half the pre-orders went out last Friday and the rest will go out this week, so stay tuned :) RISE and SPRINT are our most popular stacks, but I agree with you - YAWN is awesome and totally under-exposed compared to it's louder siblings. It's definitely the dark horse of our line up.

@geoffreywoo @tuneguru @gocubes @nootrobox Is there some sort of free trial of this? As a college student, I'm definitely interested in trying.

@geoffreywoo hey, I wanted to ask more about the ingredients... As I'd be skeptical from a health stand-point in taking these. It may be a bit hypocritical because I'll happily drink coffee.
But in that coffee I wouldnt have Sugar... which you have in these cubes.
I wouldn't have un-natural caffeine added
I would (hope to) have real coffee beans used
Honestly, they dont come across as too appealing when broken down like that.

@bentossell think of @gocubes as coffee re-engineered for performance. The lack of precision of coffee and its unreliable caffeine content makes coffee a imperfect cognitive boost. Sometimes you're overly jacked, sometimes you're under-stimulated. We fixed that with precision doses of 50 mg of caffeine with accompanying doses of well-understood nootropics like L-theanine to ameliorate the jitteriness of caffeine.
Moreover, from the 'feel' perspective, there's an interesting sublingual absorption effect going on with @gocubes. It hits more quickly with a nice ramp, which is different from coffee which needs to be absorbed through the digestive system. The anxiolytic effects of inositol and a range of B Vitamins (including methylated B12) really does create a different experience than straight caffeine. And again, these ingredients are GRAS, the highest safety rating for food supplements that the FDA guides with.
Our cubes are indeed made with real coffee beans, and the small amount of sugar is used to cut into the natural bitterness of coffee and caffeine. I wouldn't think of sugar as always pure evil. Glucose is also fuel for the brain. The base of the cubes are made with pectin, which comes from plants. Pectin provides a satisfying jelly-like mouthfeel which makes @gocubes a pretty unique taste and texture experience.

@geoffreywoo @bentossell @gocubes. Stevia could be an interesting option. A kit kat has 20g of sugar and these have about 12. Could deter some people to have that much sugar if it is a daily routine.
