Glitch is the easiest and friendliest way to build and launch applications. I especially love their free link tree landing page template: Glitch-in-Bio

The first You Got This! Zine was wonderful, and this new React edition is every bit as delightful. I'm new to React and have read about it a bit here and there, but I've never read such a plainly spoken description of what it is, why it's useful, and what it's useful for. It's really well done.

The mix of content is super helpful. I love that it has top devs giving short tips on using React and sharing how they came to be pro devs along with educating the reader about React. These zines have a broader focus, it seemsโ€”they're teaching people how to become professional developers, not just React or Node-capable. It's hard to balance the micro and macro in one short zine, but the Glitch team does so beautifully, as was the case with the first zine edition.

Lastly, the illustrations are just so fun, like all of Glitch's graphics. Playful and interesting with this splinter of nostaliga that gouges into you and grows into a beautiful infection of wonderment.

It was love at first site.

Glitch really is an amazing place to build, prototype, and learn. It is extremely powerful despite the retro feel. Don't be fooled, it can probably do what you want it to do, and then some.

I am excited to keep learning and building out projects on Glitch. I hope others can too.

This will be very useful for newbie developers starting out, especially those in developing countries.

We integrate with Glitch so that people can use Botkit without understanding how to set up hosting, dns, SSL, and other jargony, complicated stuff. It is super easy to integrate with, provides a great experience for users, and is also FUN!

We've been using Glitch for quite a while now at CropSafe. By far one of the valuable tools we have in our stack. Every week we make hundreds of tiny iterations to our code when experimenting features with our customers, so the instant deployment Glitch has built-in has been perfect for our case, helping us test and experiment very quickly. Looking forward to utilising the Boosted App capabilities with CropSafe!

The glitch ui is very clean in my opinion, it's uses my screen space very efficiently, even on devices like my laptop. An unique feature the editor has is some of the buttons have emojis next to the buttons. I especially like the kind of buttons they use because they're not too big and not too small. The overall aesthetic that glitch is going for is also quite nice, each project gets their own colorful page. The only things that kind of annoy me are 1. The slow redirect when you are logged in and visit glitch.com 2. The lack of better handling of connection failures. The editor could back up your code locally, then provide some sort of diff/merge interface when you get your connection back. 3. Not having autocomplete, which feels like it might be slowing me down. I think I've said it before, but it's either my monitor or the purple in the dark theme makes me think of eggplants. Some of the other observations I've made in the past 1. Support for mobile and mobile with hardware keyboards is very well done. 2. Multi-user collaboration works a lot better than the other online editor I've tried. The editor rarely produces ghost characters (characters that are in your code but you can't see in the code editor). The introduction of generated static sites is exciting because I can now set up tools like sass, tsc, and parcel. I'm looking forward to create a version of hello-webpage that automatically minifies your code, resizes your images, and optimizes in many other ways.
