I like the idea of having fresh and local produce delivered to your home, but this is quickly becoming a very crowded space. As this Pando piece mentions, there's:
Farm Fresh to You (SF)
FarmboxLA (Los Angeles)
Marketcrate (St. Louis)
Byproduce (NC)
Farmigo (SF and NY)
Not to mention Instacart, FreshDirect (NYC), Amazon Fresh, etc.

Crowded, but also very localized. Still a big country to fill in and until Amazon or someone else goes nationwide, its anyones game. Theoretically.

I'm curious how the economic look on these localized businesses. I'm curious how it compares to physical farmer's markets, which are also costly.
