I've been using Folk in private beta for some time, and I'm glad I can finally tell the world how much of a game-changer it has been for me! Folk saves me a HUGE amount of time: it keeps all my contacts from multiple sources in one place, it automatically deduplicates/enriches/adds email threads to contacts, AND it acts like a CRM but for my network. I had tested many options before, so I'm relieved I won't have to switch tools back-and-forth anymore!

Pros:

As simple as an address book, lots of automation to help on repetitive tasks, easy on the eyes.

Cons:

Only desktop so far, but happy to see that a mobile app is on the way!

I always take contact details of people I talk to but I forget there names. Tags are helpful to recall. I am also very bad at keeping in touch. Reminders are smart.

Pros:

Contact tags, De-duplicate, reminders to keep contact

Cons:

One more thing to do !

Thank you David.

It helps keep the contact database up to date which is a huge pain across an organisation.

Pros:

Collaboration features are great !!! Very easy to use.

Cons:

Thank you, Nathalie. Points noted.

Folk has been a game changer in the way we manage our relationships within our organisation.

Besides the "one stop shop for contacts" aspect which was long awaited, it's a really powerful tool for many different uses cases, shared across the team: organising an event, raising funds, organising communities...

We just love it, and it keeps on being better everyday, with new integrations. Can't wait for Linkedn contacts in there!!!

Congrats to the team for building such a great product.

Pros:

Finally all our contacts in one single place

Cons:

Not connected to all contact sources yet, but soon!

Folk makes you wonder how there wasn't any tool like it for efficiently managing your contacts - you know, that feeling where you can't even remember what "before" Folk was like. I have been using it for nearly a month in private beta now and it has become a part of my daily life. Thanks and congrats team !

Pros:

Simply awesome at managing your contacts (especially in a team context).

Cons:

The filtering system feels a bit rough but works well.

CPO. Former founder of Corilla.

New product that instantly made me smile. It fits in between the virtually useless contacts list in Gmail and the distant-feeling CRM in the cloud. Using it made me realise this happy medium of Folk is much quicker for the kind of contact management and outreach most relevant for our company. Plus the overall UX and beautiful UI run rings around the majority of CRMs and contact managers out there.

Pros:

Makes contacts super accessible with UX optimised for speed of tagging and collection.

Cons:

Would benefit from access to contact enrichment to autopopulate socials, etc.

AquaBlast, underwater punching bag

It's a good start and I like that an app version is on the way. Looking forward to seeing regular updates as comments come in.

Pros:

Nice interface

Cons:

No Yahoo mail. No right click context menus.

consultant - professor - facilitator

After loading my contacts, it actually found more duplicates than Google Contacts. It has synced perfectly with my Google Contacts, so updates done in Folk are reflected in my contacts' list. Waiting to try more features.

Pros:

Once you get how to configure it, the campaign feature is really useful to keep track processes (sales, hiring, onboarding, applications).

Cons:

The interface could be more friendly.
