@cojovo Good point. I'm not trying to add every person I buy/sell from as a friend on FB. It's more like "Get off my FB!" actually.

Various factors in the decision-making process, for example I wouldn't buy from someone with poor grammar or slow response. @cojovo When I buy or sell on Craigslist I try to search the person on socials to see what they look like so at least know who to look for when meeting to exchange. I'm usually successful via linkedin or usually FB....so this speeds this up. We're not becoming FB buddies...it's more like seeing your drivers profile photo in Uber + verified account.
@steffanpedersen @chhhris I recently relocated from Seattle to the Midwest. There's a lot of variables I see that make me not want to use it locally, especially right now that my local marketplace is just full of puppies needing new homes.

Interesting point @cojovo, but only true in some cases. However, if you had to weigh transparency over safety, I would choose safety. I cant tell you how many times Ive sold things in the past on craigslist and get this uncomfortable feeling of anxiety when you had to meet the seller to exchange.
