🚨TLDR: 200 requests/day FREE plan if subscribing today 🚨 🚨https://rapidapi.com/kotartemiy/... 🚨 Hi Product Hunt! 😸 I have written a code to extract structured data out of the online articles a long time ago. I always wanted to release it as an API. I came up with a simple formula of how I could release and sell my own APIs without managing a website, servers, users, and payments. With 0$ up-front cost. It is a 3 steps procedure: 1. Make an API that solves a problem 2. Deploy it with a serverless architecture 3. Distribute through an API Marketplace It is less than 100 lines of code written in Python. You can find the source code in this GitHub repository: https://github.com/kotartemiy/ex... πŸ””πŸ””πŸ”” I am also excited to launch Nuntium API in a few days. Nuntium API allows you to discover trending people and organizations in global news πŸ‘©β€πŸ’»πŸ‘©β€πŸ’»πŸ‘©β€πŸ’»Subscribe on https://www.nuntium.dev/ Our Pre-launch page: https://www.producthunt.com/upco... Thanks to @vladyslav_kuchaiev for making all these beautiful logo, website and presentations. 🎨 Thanks to @maksym_sugonyaka for writing extensive tests for this API. πŸ‘¨πŸ»β€πŸ’» I write about all my products on my Medium --> https://medium.com/@kotartemiy
Hi ProductHunt!πŸ‘Ύ We decided to release the API 3 days ago. At the same time, I didn't want to do something pretty much typical. To make the release fast, you had to decide to use the site builder (for example, Readymag or something similar) or code the site yourself. When it became clear that the site should be as simple as possible and without frills, I decided to make it myself. It's cheaper, a little longer, but it's just enough to convey the essence. Therefore, the design started with design layouts in Figma and ended in HTML and CSS. It is much faster to fix a couple of lines of code and immediately check responsiveness than to make a design for each device and only then write code. Well, during these two days, the site design was made, its code and responsiveness, and the slide design for ProductHunt. I'm glad it worked out. I hope you like it! πŸ”₯
Hi Product Hunt I am Maksym and I am one of the makers of News Extract API. With @kotartemiy we know each other for more than 10 years, but we started to work together only for the last 3 months. News Extract API is a perfect tool for whose professional activity is directly bound with the news. With our API and some extra lines of code, you could increase the quality and value of your data. We added a free plan for whose wants give it a try for their side projects. If you are interested in getting some more value-added from news, you can have a look at our other common product. It is called NewscatcherAPI (https://www.producthunt.com/my/u...) and it allows you to search for a specific word or phrase in millions of news articles published online. You can also specify your search using date, source, and language. Find more information on our website (https://newscatcherapi.com/) and subscribe to the beta if you want to test it with your own hands. Thanks for your support.
I have made something quite similar that also analyze the news and create statistics. Maybe we can join forces: https://www.analyzednews.com
Well done, I'm impressed things like that.
