If you're looking for an awesome, challenging tower defense game that has board game and roguelike elements to play solo or with friends (LAN would probably be amazing; I have yet to try it) then look no further.
The game is loaded with unlockable tech, items and characters, so there is plenty of replay value.
Oh, and before I forget, it's easy mode isn't easy. ;)

Played this during early access and then didn't touch it for a long time. Just came back to it yesterday and wow it really sucked me in!
I'm 7 floors deep on my current playthrough and could barely stop myself from tackling another floor. The combination of surprise, reward, tension, and tech trees is awesome!
