only 100MB for non-pro account. How ridiculous! Use https://send.firefox.com instead.

@nicocaramella Honestly, you have to understand that this feature is not targeted for someone that just wants to transfer a few files. It's an added feature to their product line and business plan. People that already have the pro accounts will find this very useful to have in addition to all the other features. But I understand that 100MB is still too little coming from Dropbox, it should be at least 5GB in my opinion.

Beta : https://blog.dropbox.com/topics/... Live : https://blog.dropbox.com/topics/... You can even password protect transfer links and set an expiration date to encourage recipients to download the files. You'll get a link you can send to anyone—even if they aren't on Dropbox. After you send it, viewership stats let you see how many times the transfer's been accessed.

Does this mean I can send files that are not currently saved in my dropbox account? I'm curious to know how this differs from sending a link to the file if it is saved within your dropbox account... Anybody?

@christopher_jones1 yes. it differs in that the user only gets a copy of the file with this. they won’t see all the future changes to the file in your dropbox
