Review of Ditto for Developers
Amazing tool that speeds up product teams by turning words into components. Improves engineering productivity and strategic impact while giving content and UX people more control over language quality and consistency at scale. You can't miss with Ditto!
About a month ago, our team tried syncing text data on ditto, and it worked really well, no doubt about that.
However, recently you upgraded your product payment plan to limit the usage of components to Starter users, and that's fine. What is irritating is that the next-level Team plan is limited to 200 components. I would like to ask if you have done product research before you do paid product upgrades. Do you know how much text data a huge design system needs? Isn't it forcing us to only upgrade to growth?
I have used a lot of products, but this upgrade of ditto made me so angry that when I wanted to export all my content data, it didn't let me export! what the .... !
Please give me a reasonable way to export my data, sorry to say goodbye to ditto.
Ditto team is very nimble and willing to adapt and work with customers to accommodate use cases that don't quite fit the app paradigm. App itself and plugin is a bit fiddly but is still quite full-featured. Great support team!

Have been looking for something like this - some way of keeping track of copy revisions, can't wait to try it out! Also left a few annotated comments here on your landing page in relation to conversion optimisation that is hopefully helpful -- https://app.usebubbles.com/37b47dc1-07a6-4f7d-b20c-d68e27c6cf81

This is super useful! Just started using it today to work with my copywriter on a marketing landing page. Something I'd love to be able to do is exclude some text elements from being added to Ditto (for example, the text elements in our nav and footer components, and any text elements I use to create a graphic). Would love for my copywriter to be able to go into Ditto and just see the text elements she needs to pay attention to. (for now I'm solving with status settings!)

Love how easy this is to use! Can already see the world where production-level copy is updated on the fly.
