Lazy eye was previously thought of as un-curable in adults (and treatment for children costs $7000+ and only has a 50% success rate). James (founder of diplopia) suffered from lazy eye and built a solution for his own problem. Playing the game he developed was the first time that he'd ever been able to see in 3D.
