Hola Product Hunt! 😻 I am stoked to introduce Decentro (https://bit.ly/decentro-product) to all of you today. Decentro is an extremely easy-to-use API platform for banking integrations in India (and soon the rest of APAC). We do the hard work of tying up with legacy financial institutions so that you can just integrate your desired APIs and launch! This is my second fintech venture and I started Decentro out of my own pain. In 2015, we started a fintech venture called Mypoolin in the domain of social payments, ran it for 3 years, and then sold it to a global payments company, that eventually got acquired by PayU in 2019. Throughout those 5 years across the organizations, we saw it first hand that integrations with banks and old-school institutions were extremely painful across all stages and categories. The average time span for API integrations with any bank ranges from 4 to 6 months or more depending on the type and complexity of the use case. 🤯 Well, not anymore. Our modules that are currently live - 1. Know your customer(KYC) & Know your business (KYB) 💡 Enable your consumers, agents, and partners to authenticate & register themselves seamlessly. Use a single API to allow them to enter any valid national ID number from over 6+ document types or simply do an OCR scan of the photographs of their IDs. 2. Anti-money laundering and Compliance 📂 Prevent fraud using our 100+ sanction lists and tackle it with our logic engines before it strikes your platform. Validate both consumers and partner businesses with a single API call to ensure compliance with your regulations. 3. Accounts 📝 Interact with our APIs of the banking ecosystem to enable account aggregation, linking, and creation. Create and manage virtual, retail or business accounts in real-time using a single API. Allow your customers or partner businesses to fetch balances and transfer money via any means to any bank in the country. Big shout-out to @katmanalac for hunting and our awesome engineering team for helping build and launch Decentro over the past few months. We are live with a few amazing customers in the domain of remittance, finance management, and more! We’d love to hear your feedback around Decentro, and in particular which module you feel we should add next. We are here to answer your questions! @pratik_daudkhane, @iamsachinsharma, @mrudav_shukla, @asabhyak, @chaitanyavardhan, @raunak_dembla

@pramod_bhat1 Thanks a lot! We already have two major banks - ICICI Bank and Yes Bank as our live partners in production for our ‘Accounts module’. That means you can integrate and choose either of them when going live with us. Feel free to connect with us via our weblink or on email anytime to help us give you a demo.

What are the banks you are connected with? Are you providing prepaid accounts or Savings? Fetch balance and transfer money, are you talking about UPI? who is the handle provider?

@d3f3nd0r Thanks for the questions. 1. We have ICICI Bank and Yes Bank as our live partners in production for our ‘Accounts module’. That means you can integrate and choose either of them when going live with us :) One more bank coming up live by next month end. 2. Currently it is prepaid accounts on both. Savings accounts are coming in a couple of months. 3. The ‘fetch balance’ here will be via the native bank statement/API once the customer has signed in for the connectivity. The ‘money transfer’ works across all channels - UPI, IMPS, NEFT, RTGS. Cheers.
